Review of Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) by Patrick M — 20 Aug 2008
Father Merrin goes Indiana Jones? Yeah, why not. Especially when it was shown in the first (proper) part that young Merrin was a jolly digger. Some gaps filled with few surprising ideas by Blatty himself.
Skarsgard is good actor indeed, proving he can drag dodgy production, and our Iza is still quite quite. I wish there were less CGI, but it's part of a bigger problem (like, every second film). Non-demanding entertainment with supernatural violence.
