Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Christina M — 07 May 2015
Absolutely unnecessary remake. The attempt to give the protagonists a sympathetic character fails miserably either due to lack of talent or direction. Gratuitous violence, excessive CG and liberties with history puts this in an early grave.
A pharaoh with a Brooklyn accent trying to be British? Give me a break! Half a star for filming in one of my favorite vacation spots. Bottom line: The 11th Plague.
