Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Dustin P — 06 Mar 2016

I'll start by saying that I don't care one bit whether it was accurate to the time period, that it matched what's said in the Old Testament, or that the actors weren't the proper ethnicity. I'm reviewing this strictly as a film and whether or not it was entertaining.

With that in mind, I'd say it was alright. The acting was pretty good. The special effects were massive and grand. My problem is that the story wasn't quite good enough to keep me fully engaged for its nearly 2 1/2 hour runtime. It's not a film I'd necessarily recommend, but I've seen MUCH worse.
