Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Mikael — 14 Feb 2015
Grand in scale and deceptively creative with its story to those who know it well, Exodus is a great addition to Ridley Scott's resume. The controversial "whitewashing" of the film can be very off putting but to those who can get past it comes a pretty imaginative tweak of the classic biblical tale that sees Moses as a general, God presented in a unique way, and different progression.
It's too bad the supporting cast beside Christian Bale do not live up to their Hollywood reputations.
