Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Arslan K — 24 Mar 2015
This film looks spectacular from its setting to its cgi, edgerton and bale were really good, sets were amazing, scott knows how to make a battle look good. But then there is a patch of cast members which should not be there and the pacing. Ok so the main thing of the film was the 10 plagues and scott messed it all up. He made few of them slow and some of them super duper fast. He should have done something more. Another thing was the kid actor playing god...a kid was playing god...not a man but a bald kid who can't act and gives you no emotion or attachment to the conversation between Moses and god. Another big flaw was half.
Of the cast members which did not belong there mainly because...they weren't Egyptians...in a movie that takes place in Egypt. This movie really had potential but it couldn't reach it.
