Review of eXistenZ (1999) by William C — 16 Jun 2008
Cronenberg is a weirdo. So the first 30 minutes I was grimacing at the terrible acting and just kind of befuddled about what I was looking at. For the next hour I was totally sucked in. It's like a gross Matrix with no kung fu.
By the end it wrapped itself all up and I smiled. I don't honestly think I could tell anyone to see this because I don't think many people would like it. But I did. Viva Cronenberg!
