Review of Excision (2012) by David K — 16 Jan 2015
Bates and McCord combine belly laughs with soul-shattering terror to create a highly original film that ranks among the best cinematic high school critiques. Think John Hughes filtered through John Waters and Jodorowsky, or the bastard hellspawn of Cronenberg and Todds Field and Solondz.
Excision is weird and effective. Rent it.
