The best film adaptation of Malorey's hodgepodge of Arthurian legends. The book is gory, the film is gory. The book shows knights raping and pilaging, and so does this film. The cast is wonderful, the effects subtle, and low-budget.
Exclalibur will draw you in from the first scene to the last--if you are a true fan of medieval legends,.
