Maybe I have a special place in my heart for this movie because I was young when I saw it, but I think this is great, and that it holds up well. Nicol Williamson's Merlin is one of my favorite film characters of all time, completely mad and totally genius at the same time.
A great epic fantasy, done wonderfully well. Lot's performances from actors who would later climb to the top of their field.
