Beautiful movie, maybe the best Arthurian fantasy ever. Sir John Boorman does a tremendous ob with a Joseph Campbell-liek approach, and a terrific cast: Nichol Williamson's Merlin opposite Helen Mirren's Morgan la Fey is pure genius, 'specially considering how much they hated each other in real life.
