Review of Excalibur (1981) by Julie G — 30 Apr 2009
Better than Camelot but worse than Monty Python's Holy Grail. The plot follows the main Arthurian legends with nothing new to add, and almost all the acting is over the top. Why see it? Most of the locations are beautiful, and one guy manages to have sex without taking his suit of armor off.
If that doesn't interest you, skip the 2 hour and 20 minute spectacle.
