'Ex Machina' is an examination of the nature of humanity for the first hour, and slowly becomes a tense, claustrophobic sci-fi thriller that is surprisingly simple, but incredibly effective. Its themes range from the morality of scientific advances to free will to sexual awakening.
This is a chilling, and refreshing, must-see.
