Review of Evil Under the Sun (1982) by Alexander W — 05 Mar 2008
A favorite of mine from my childhood. Ustinov is great as usual as Poiroit, but what makes this film so much fun is everything else about it. Maggie Smith, Dianna Rigg, and James Mason make a TERRIFIC ensemble cast, with great fun witty diologue.
Cole Porter soundtrack is fantastic, and the plot is quite smart. If you like murder mysteries, this is a must see.
