Review of Evil Under the Sun (1982) by Rick L — 16 Feb 2008
An immaculate looking film that fails completely to engage - Ustinov is getting out of hand as Poirot..there are some good moments Diana Rigg and Maggie Smith's playing off each other is probably the most fun - especially during the former's rendition of You're the Top.
Oh and there's a classy score from Cole Porter and some wonderful scenery, so it's great for a wet Sunday afternoon, if nothing else.
