First and foremost, I ADORE the original trilogy. Amongst all the countless remakes we've seen, I must admit this is one of the better of those movies (SPOILER: technically, this IS a sequel). Despite lacking originality and sorely missing its dark humor, I'd consider this a recommendation to avid horror fans.
