I agree that the original is better than this remade version. However, this film offers a lot of brutal, fantastically gruesome scenes that horror fans can appreciate. They maintained a level of humor to remind us that the original Evil Dead was not forgotten.
. There are plot holes and it's all unbelievable, but if you expected anything more than outlandish I don't really understand why you would want to watch this.
