Lou Taylor Pucci is a really, really good young actor. This is not a very good movie.
I'm not much of a fan of the original, but I certainly understand why some people like it. This remake is strong on gore - and better acted than it frankly needs to be - but the ridiculous climax lets down an otherwise passable (if unexceptional) thrill ride.
