Review of Evil Dead (2013) by Connor A — 14 Feb 2014
Rarely does a film ever use the "over-the-top violence for the sake of over-the-top violence" motif with a decent outcome. This adaptation of The Evil Dead presents what should be a so-violent-it's-funny image with dead seriousness, and I have no idea how a film can pull that off.
There were so many bits in this that should have been hilarious but drew not a single chuckle out of me. Man, that Eric guy can take a beating.
