Despite how difficult it is to break new ground in this genre, this is truly a ground breaking horror film. Beyond the typical gore fest, which this film does not disappoint over, the twist is how much the possessed hurt themselves much more then others.
Which is a whole other kind of creep fest. Absolutely NOT the campy silly typical Evil Dead film at all. This one is pure sinister evil come to life.
