This remake/reboot of the cult classic is absolutely grotesque and disgusting, yet I could never look away from it. Fede Alvarez puts beauty in such unspeakable moments. He's like the Dario Argento of this age.
Such a stylish director. Unlike most horror movies, Evil Dead manages to be gory AND scary at the same time.
