Review of Eve's Bayou (1997) by Dart A — 06 May 2007
Set in a small black town on the Lousiana Bayou, a young girl from a wealthy, educated family comes of age as she discovers her own psychic gifts and the results of status and family secrets and dynamics.
Beautiful scenery and the cast is superb. There's also a touch of how hoodoo was a part of life, even if just on the edges of it.
