Review of Eve's Bayou (1997) by Matthew B — 03 May 2008
This movie was fantastic! I caught it by chance, and I was into it from the first few scenes, and the story just kept getting better from there!
Seeing Samuel L. Jackson in an actual acting role reminded me that he's not just the hokey action star that he's come across as in the last few years. And the rest of the cast equally do their own phenomenal jobs -- seriously, this is one of the best acted movies that I've seen in a while.
