Review of Everything's Gone Green (2006) by Elisabeth D — 05 Jun 2007
A 'cute' screenplay debut from Coupland, chock full of cultural references and archetypes seemingly plucked from suburbo-urban Vancouver. Adorable Steph Song is a good enough reason to see this movie while Paulo with his side-smirks plays the unresolved hero well.
Still, as a Vancouverite, I spent more time glancing for recognizable details in the landscape than following the meandering storyline. One thumb up and an eye roll at the pot-dealing parents arc.
