Review of Everything's Gone Green (2006) by Hilary H — 05 Aug 2007
Douglas Copeland penned this book turned to screenplay which features Vancouver for once instead of hiding behind it like every Hollywood movie seems to do. Paul Costanzo, known for his roles in teen comedies, stars as Ryan a slacker level Vancouverite who hits some hard patches and then lucks out into a job with the lottery.
A hair brained scheme is hatched and hilarity ensues. The asian influence, the grow ops, the grouse grind, the mountain views and the obligatory Expo 86 t-shirt all make appearances to authenticize it and while it's not the most invigorating movie it's a pleasant romp.
