Review of Everyone Says I Love You (1996) by Walter H — 11 Jun 2007
Best. Movie. Ever. Combining Woody's usual neurotic characters with the charm and romance of the old studio musicals, it has an innocence that I miss in contemporary examples of the genre. The quintessential scene, of course, is the final dance sequence with Goldie and Woody, though Tim Roth's serenading of Drew Barrymore is another highlight.
Light and frothy--what's wrong with that?
