Review of Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone (2011) by Lisa C — 08 Apr 2012
I have been a fan of Fishbone since 1989, when I first saw them play the Ritz Theater in Tampa, Florida. Fishbone was the unique and inspirational group that influenced so many other popular bands over the years, and is still one of the best bands around.
This documentary is very well done and touches on the emotional side of the band's failures and successes as well as the politics and inner workings of the music industry. It tells the story as it is--- It's real, it's moving and it's exciting to watch.
Thank you to the Directors for making "Everyday Sunshine.".
