If you want to see a plot-free, conflict-free, narrative-free, character development-free, stakes-free movie about four days of talking, going to discos, getting laid, rinse and repeat, then this is the movie for you.

I'll give Linklater that he can really capture time and place, and evoke certain "archetypes" of the era, but it turns out to be a utterly boring, "pseudo-documentary" with top-notch production design.
