Good cast, no plot. In 1980, self-confident student on a baseball scholarship spends his first four days at college. He meets a pretty girl who instantly becomes his girlfriend. He goofs around with his teammates, goes to a few parties, bars, and discos.

He attends one practice. As he falls asleep on his first day of class, the film blacks out. During the end credits, the major male cast members do a contemporary hip-hop song. From the creator of BOYHOOD, SCHOOL OF ROCK, BERNIE, and BEFORE SUNRISE, SUNSET and MIDNIGHT, this is a footnote (even though it probably introduces a half-dozen future stars) It's not because I'm old - I have nostalgia for many of the same experiences in the same era - it's just that I like films to have character development and tell a story.

Despite the "fresh" rating, I found this terribly disappointing.
