Review of Everybody Wants Some!! (2016) by Rob R — 03 May 2016

Linklater's spiritual successor to Dazed and Confused is easily balanced with incredible dialogue and developed characters. A young freshman baseball pitcher explores the next phase of his life when he bonds with his ultra competitive teammates, chases after ladies, and finds out a lot about himself.

The movie doesn't over-use its soundtrack to force the vibe of the 80's, its able to find a nice balance. The characters are developed enough and its a nice time capsule look at a different time, but also a solid coming of age movie.
