I could see a fair few people not really liking Everybody Wants Some!! It doesn't really have a plot or any major story progression. Almost all of the characters are young jocks that are only really interested in drinking and tuning women.

For me, those two things added to the charm of the movie. The characters all felt authentic, and reminded me of different guys I've played sport or gone to school with. And the more I got to know the characters quirks, the funnier the movie became.

My only real complaint is that I wish it had been done as a short series instead of a movie, as a means of seeing more of the tales and shenanigans of this group.
