Everybody Wants Some!! is a joy of a film. The latest from Richard Linklater again displays his uncanny skill at showing the joy and sadness in life. Set in 1980 Texas we find ourselves at a fictional college following three days in the life of a baseball team.

But baseball isn't really on the agenda. Girls, drinking and music are. The plot become fairly inconsequential but this fine film is more about characters and digging into these characters. Linklater expertly recreates the era with great detail and love and the music is great.

On the surface it's just a fun film, and good at that, but there is a great deal of love invested in each character so by the end of the film you just wish we could spend a few days more with them all.
