I guess if you're a Linklater fan or loved Dazed & Confused then I'm sure you'll enjoy this movie, but don't expect a magical cinematic experience. Just like Linklater's other films (see: Boyhood), the plot develops slowly and consists mostly of conversations that don't necessarily add anything major to the plot.

The characters are mediocre; they're all too similar and none of them really stand out among the rest. The romance aspect with the main character isn't really necessary to the vibe of the rest of the movie.

Overall, I didn't hate the movie but I didn't love it either. Could be a good watch on a bored afternoon, but I definitely wouldn't pay to see this (and I'm glad I didn't have to).
