Richard Linklater comes back at us with a nostalgic trip to the 80s in the tradition of 'Dazed and Confused' (though not as inspiring). 'Everybody Wants Some!!' follows the exploits of University students throughout the course of three days before their classes start.

Set within Linklater's own native state of Texas as well as the American Indie Auteur's trademark snappy dialogue, fast paced engaging drama and the natural conception of the film's ensemble cast of characters.

As if this film was in some ways some sort of spiritual sequel to the cult classic 'Dazed and Confused', except taking it a bit of a note higher with the generation present on-screen. Not to mention that the film is incredibly entertaining as the characters are relatable, the wry energy infused on-screen within the film's party sequences and snappy banter among the characters is a very entertaining mix to keep the pacing sharp and steady.

Though, it's run-time is a little bit longer than most viewers or Linklater fans will expect, there's never a dull moment for 'Everybody Wants Some!!' it's an authentic, fun, endearing and funny film essential within the filmography of Linklater.
