Review of Everybody Wants Some!! (2016) by Calvin C — 06 Jul 2016

Sure there is no plot. It's about a group of guys hanging out before the school year starts. But, just like Boyhood, Richard Linklater gives us a movie about people living in a certain time. There is a lot of partying and dancing, but the cast is great. Each one stands out on their own and you eventually get to know them better at the end. The movie is quite uneventful. It is just a series of scenes about boys being boys. Some people will find that boring. I found it interesting.
