Review of Every Little Step (2008) by Aaron B — 26 Oct 2009
I never saw this play. Although my Parents did when the show first did a tour, and ever since then the soundtrack has kind of hung around with me.
This is a documentary that tells of the creation of the show, as well as the audition process for the recent revival.
It turns out to be a very entertaining and detailed look at how tough it could be to get onto a broadway stage. Granted, this wont change your mind on musical theater if you aren't already a fan. It will give you a new respect for the jobs that are done however. It also goes to show you the difference between a good and great performance.
Worth a rental.
