Review of Every Little Step (2008) by Marc K — 14 Jun 2009
For every person who has ever auditioned or wanted to audition, this movie has something for everyone. A Chorus Line is one of my favorite shows. It's real, raw and full of emotion. Let's not forget about the dance.
The movie elists original cast/production members and uses original footage and audio from the conception of the show. It's a continual tribute to one Mr. Michael Bennett who's dream show will continue on stage forever.
The movie brought me to tears many times as we reveal the layers of emotion that surround the audition process. There must be a lot of footage NOT used in the film and that would be painful to watch as well.
Every Little Step is a great documentarty of the journey to live the dream. For some the journey is all they will ever attain and for the other percentage that make it in a Broadway show... dreams can come true.
