Review of Everlasting Moments (2008) by Jessica P — 20 Feb 2009

I gotta say I wasn't making any attempt to get into this film... it was just my turn in the rotation and I was already tired and dying to go home, but somehow I stuck with it and walked away feeling moderately entertained.

Though I'm not big on Swedish films, I would venture to guess this ranks somewhere towards the top. It's a good story, but a little sad. Not sure about the ending though... it's like the worst ending possible for these characters but everyone is still happy? Not very fond of those kinds of endings. But, then again, it fits with the whole "feel" of the film. It'll be interesting to hear what the Talk Cinema people have to say about this, seeing as I finally saw a film they'll be discussing. At the very least I will now be able to scoff at their ridiculous comments with better accuracy, instead of waiting for them to throw out pointless comments and term that have no relevance to the discussion.
