Review of Everlasting Moments (2008) by Roland J — 24 Mar 2009

Definitely one of the best Swedish films of 2008, which sadly doesn't say that much. Probably one of the best of the decade is a more fitting description. The early 1900s setting is beautifully built and shot, and gives the film an authentic atmosphere.

Furthermore, the story is powerful and the acting is really good, the cast includes some of the best names in acting that Sweden has to offer, and the casting of the lead roles is just right. If you are even remotely interested in Scandinavian moviemaking, this is a must-see.
