Review of EverAfter (1998) by Shannon B — 25 Dec 2009
A shameless chick flick, yet I do like how they made one of the stepsisters somewhat sympathetic to the plights of Barrymore's character--it's a much better take than in the classic tale where both stepsisters are just as evil as the stepmother--unlike the classic tale, this movie shows the human side of ALL the characters, not just Cinderella.
