Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Chris R — 20 Jan 2014

I guess I'm kind of alone in this but I really, really loved that movie. It's one of the first, and only, horror movie to kept me awake after seeing it. Granted I was about 14 when this came out so a tad more impressionable than I might be now, but still I keep great memories of this film.

The atmosphere is terrific and I loved the setting and the ship design. From my memory, production values were pretty good as well... I don't think I'll be watching it again though, for fear I'd discover it's a terrible film.

I'd rather keep the good memories.
