Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Chris W — 28 Jul 2010
Paul Anderson's "Event Horizon" works really well in the first half of the film. The creepy atmosphere and the remarkable set design really sets the vibe. Unfortunately, the film jumps a huge shark and insults the viewer's intelligence a bit.
As expected, Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neil are in excellent form, and they really hold the film together. For a scary haunted house (in space) movie, check it out. Recommended.
