Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Joey B — 08 Feb 2014
Go in expecting a sci-fi movie, end up with a (quite scary I might add) horror movie. I've always been a sucker for space-related movies and TV shows, and this hooked me in with its setting being way off in planet Neptune's orbit. I have yet to see a sci-fi horror movie have a plot like this, so kudos for originality.
SPOILERS!!!
The only gripe I have is the ending, if the ending where Dr. Weir grabs her by the throat was the actual ending I would be a lot more satisfied, but they had to fuck it up and make it a hallucination.
8/10, great movie.
