Although some elements in Event Horizon capture the eerie tension that makes sci-fi horror so horrifying, the film would be much better off in the hands of a more competent director. Bad camerawork and horrendous audio decisions are just a few of the problems that ruin the viewer's immersion in this otherwise interesting film.
