Review of Evening (2007) by Andrea W — 25 Jan 2008
With a solid plot and a strong cast, I thought this film would wow me. And yet it did not. While the story itself is moving and captivating, the director over-employs the now tired filming technique of jumping between present and past.
It gets annoying to switch between the 2 plotlines every 5 minutes, and the scenes of Vanessa Redgrave dreaming of 'angels' and chasing butterflies are just a little corny.
