With meryl streep, my favourite toni collette and glenn close on the credits, I expected a decent movie at the very least. what I got was too many close ups of claire danes' unattractive face and even more of her silly unconvincing acting.
she is an overrated plain jane actor who has never done justice to any of her roles from baz's romeo+juliet to t3. she certainly does not deserve the top billing and screen time she gets here. to be fair to the first time director and writer, the twist toward the end was very good.
but it was too little too late to save the movie.
