Evening tells the story of a mother on her death bed retracking her life to her grown up daughters. She reveals secrets about her past love and friends. The film flashes back and forth from present and past.
Claire Danes portrays the woman as a young girl and Vanessa Redgrave portrays her as the older dying woman. The film features an all star cast including Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Toni Collette and Natasha Richardson.
This is a very touching drama well written with great acting. It moves at a slow pace but is worth seeing.
