I haven't read the book, but now I want to. It's probably better than the movie, but the movie is captivating. The transitions from flashback to present are a little rough, but the stories themselves aren't lost.
I really enjoyed this one, but I'm a sucker for anything with Claire Danes, Glenn Close, and Meryl Streep! I also love Toni Collette. She's probably my favorite character in this movie.
