Review of Even the Rain (2011) by Clare W — 21 Jun 2011
The idea of juxtaposing the issues facing indigenious populations in South America with a film crew making a film about the colonisation and the evils of the Spanish colonists is BRILLIANT. The performances outstanding however the film does failing down in possibly having a few too many supporting characters to keep track of.
I'm just wishing that a lot of people take any opportunity they have to see this film as even if some flaws it does highlight many of the large issues facing poorer communities in South America (in particular the indigenious communities of these comuntries) as this problems are being overlooked by many in the world and deserve more attention.
