Review of Even the Rain (2011) by Andrew L — 04 Dec 2012
This is a really good movie. The story is one that had to be hard to execute. There are two different events going on but in the end, both have the same outcome. Depending on the viewer's interpretation of the film, one might say some good characters become bad and some bad become good.
But without analyzing specific meanings throughout the movie, there is still a great amount of dialogue and story to keep you interested. The movie does move slowly about halfway in but once it gets over that hurdle, the rest of it is extremely well done.
The acting is great as well. Luis Tosar and Gael Garcia Bernal give very good performances that makes it easy to show the progression that their respective characters go through. Definitely worth the rent.
