Quirky jewel about "the misadventures of a beautiful young woman, Sissy Hankshaw, whose over-sized thumbs establish her as a very formidable hitchhiker," with a very young Uma Thurman and of all people Keanu Reeves.
Very feminist for 1976 book. And k.d. lang music to boot.
